Renegade Craft Fair 2015 Heads Back to Wicker Park

Although the holiday festival is now hosted in Bridgeport, Chicago’s Renegade Craft Summer Fair will return to Wicker Park's Division Street on September 19-20, 2015. A thoughtfully curated selection of today’s finest independent Makers will be showcased throughout the fair. In addition, attendees can participate in an exciting weekend of shopping handmade, participating in DIY workshops, and exploring installations and activities with some of the best indie Makers around. Preview this year’s line up of 350+ talented Makers, food and drink, activities and more here!


Chirp Radio and Reckless Records will be on-hand spinning jams and tunes all weekend long while visitors explore and shop. Those inspired by the creative air can also learn the basics of working with leather at the Chicago School of Shoemaking and Leather Arts workshop. Urban Prairie Waldorf School will also be teaching attendees how to knit, create origami, and wind jump-ropes at their interactive space. Also don’t miss out, swing by BERNINA and join in on all the fun making Kennel Quilts for the PetFinder Foundation. These 12” x 18” little quilts help provide comfort for shelter cats and dogs while they wait for their new home.

Cycling enthusiasts can visit Pedal to the People‘s Pop-Up Bike Shop – offering bike valet service, mechanical services, and a “Don’t Get Stranded” flat fix workshop. For vintage treasures, don't miss First Ladies VintageHighstreet Vintage, and Lost Girls Vintage. Shop their eclectic collections of found and selected goods from around the country.

Take a break from all the fun to grab a bite from one of these local food stalls: Chicago’s DoghouseDia de los TamalesDönerMenMana Food Bar, and Taco in A Bag as well as check out the unique tasty treats on hand for later from some talented artisanal food vendors. Black Dog GelatoJustice of the Pies, and Puffs of Doom will be serving delicious icy treats, pies, and baked goods. -Fair hours are 11am-6pm on Saturday + Sunday, September 19 + 20.
-The Fair will take place along Division St. between Damen and Paulina. You can route directions to the intersection of Damen and Division here. The closest CTA train stop to the Fair is the Division Blue Line Stop.
-The Renegade Craft Fair is free to attend.
