The sale closed on June 19, 2014 with a price of $3,100,000. Since its last sale in 1987 for $172,500 the building has been used as a single family home and gallery. A small part of the property was rented. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for this historic Wicker Park property.

The property was under contract last Summer but that sale fell through and the property was re-listed by Jameson Sotheby's in September 2013. The MLS is currently showing that the property went under contract again on February 6, 2014 with an asking price of $3,500,000. Annual real estate property taxes are approximately $36,000.

If you've ever walked down Wood Street just north of Division, you've probably noticed the 2 cannons sitting outside of the property at 1239 N. Wood Street. This property is located right on the corner of Potomac and Wood Street and sits on 6 Chicago lots.
