West Town Art Walk
West Town's thriving art scene takes over the neighborhood on Friday, October 3rd and Saturday, October 4th for the 4th annual West Town Art Walk. Presented by the West Town Chamber of Commerce, Dovetail and Seek Vintage, this eclectic fest mimes the creative talents of Chicagoans and celebrates West Town's diverse business community.
"Our mission is to showcase West Town as a rich, cultural hub that has a lot to offer business owners, residents and visitors," said West Town Chamber of Commerce director Kara Salgado.
Throughout Friday and Saturday, attendees can stroll up and down Chicago Avenue, mingle with local business owners, and enjoy art in all forms: visual, performance, culinary, music, and fashion. The free-to-the-public Art Walk features everything from artistic spins on classic cocktails to full blown pop-up-galleries and takes place within dozens of West Town storefronts, everything from restaurants to boutiques. Many of the participating venues also run their own exclusive promotions and sales during this time.
An official West Town Art Walk touring map will be distributed on-site. Other activities include: complimentary rickshaws for transporting guests throughout the event and after parties at many participating businesses on Friday, Oct 3rd until at least 10pm.
