November 7, 2016 - Wicker Wire - In addition to the environmentally-friendly pop up general store called Evil Eye Mercantile, two new businesses have opened their doors on Division Street in Wicker Park.

First, a sweets lover's dream, Candyality has opened their fourth Chicago location. Opening just West of Damen Avenue at 2046 W. Division Street, Candyality offers its traditional array of retro candy (think Charleston Chews, Turkish Taffy and Charms) plus gummies, sour candies and vegan chocolates that are made by Chocolate Inspirations based in Roselle, Illinois. Candy lovers may appreciate that Candyality is just steps away from one of our favorite candy shops, Mr. Kite's Chocolate Shop located at 2127 W. Division Street. Additional information can be found on their website: candyality.com.

Also opening this past Sunday on Division Street: Fifolet Cajun & Cocktails. The space formerly Division Ale House (1942 W. Division Steet) has reopened with the same owners and a brand new New Orleans-inspired concept. Here you'll find traditional Cajun & Creole favorites with a unique Fifolet spin including: Collard Greens with Bacon, Creole Green Bean Casserole, Fried Aligator Ettoufee, Chicken Jambalaya, and Shrimp Creole. The Beverage Menu includes plenty of NOLA-inspired cognac-based cocktails in addition to flights of Brandy, Absinthe and Rum. There is no website at this time but you can follow them on Twitter for updates.
