Join The 606 - And More - For Trick or Treating This Year

October 31, 2016 - Happy Halloween! We've been getting lots of questions about trick-or-treating this year. Traditionally local neighborhood businesses have opened their doors to trick-or-treaters to coincide with BooPalooza. But in the wake of BooPalooza's cancelation this year, a number of businesses opted not to offer formal trick-or-treating over the weekend.

Enter The 606.

With no rain in the forecast and temperatures averaging around 60 degrees, you can don those costumes and head to The 606 this evening from 5pm-7pm. You'll find trick-or-treating end to end on the trail. Friends of The Bloomingdale Trail will provide "BOO-Mingdale Trail" Halloween bags and officers from the 14th & 25th Districts are joining in on the fun.

But that's not all.

Right around the corner from The 606, a number of Bucktown businesses will also be hosting trick-or-treaters this evening from 4pm-7pm. You'll find lots of candy at local businesses on Milwaukee Avenue between Leavitt Street and Western Avenue. Participants include: Dance Spa, Irazu, Chicago Teacher Store, Cellar Door Salon, Zen Yoga Garage, Core Chiropractic Health Center, The Stop Along, Ipsento, Odd Obsessions, Kimberly Smiles and Executive Barber. You can also head on over to Western Avenue to join Purple Monkey Playroom - 2040 N. Western Avenue (closes at 5:30pm) and Toy De Jour at 2064 N. Western Avenue for a few sweet treats.
