Recent Wicker Park Michelin Bib Gourmand Winner, Carriage House, located at 1700 W. Division Street is offering a sweet Wednesday special. For the next few months, they'll be offering a $12 tall boy - po' boy combo. The catfish, shrimp and oyster po' boys will be offered on a rotating basis.  A tall can of beer or cider of the diner's choice will also be included for that $12. The menu currently includes Half Acre Heyoka, Bell's Oberon and Vander Mill Cider.

Wicker Wire: Bronzeville's gain could be Bucktown's loss. According to a report published earlier by the Chicago Reader, the father and son team at Honey 1 BBQ at 2241 N. Western Avenue have set their sights on the south side. The new location at 746 E. 43rd Street will open this year despite delays in construction. In all likelihood, that means the Bucktown location will close in March or April.  

Owner and Arkansas native Robert Adams Sr. has been bringing ribs, tips and links to Bucktown for 9 years and is hoping for an opening of his Bronzeville location this month.

  Honey 1 Barbecue is moving to Bronzeville and taking Chicago's barbecue heritage with it [Chicago Reader]

Last night's election was incredible showing how close these races can be and how important your vote truly is. That being said, you can attend a Meet & Greet for all 1st Ward Alderman Candidates courtesy of the Wicker Park Committee. The meeting starts tonight, November 5th, at 7pm and will be held at the Wicker Park Field House at 1425 N. Damen Avenue.
