This weekend Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby land on the same day. So we've included Cinco de Mayo street festivals, Kentucky Derby parties and those celebrations that will include both. The Bucktown Community Organization announced their Movies in the Park line-up this week. So, which movies are heading to Churchill Park this Summer? We reported earlier that a new Wicker Park development is being planned and Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants had been invited to participate in the development at 1815 W. Division - the site of Miller Lumber. Looks like the original plan is being revised and LEY hasn't fully committed to the project yet. If you'd like to participate in a meeting to discuss next steps on this development, Alderman Moreno is hosting a meeting on April 26th at 1148 N. Honore. The details are here.

Lillie's Q is celebrating their 1 Year Anniversary on Monday!  Chef McKenna will be serving delicious barbecue and it's free! So be sure to stop by and celebrate with Lillie's Q. Fall fashion is right around the corner and the next big street fest heading our way is the Renegade Craft Fair. Sure it's not until September but it's big ... and we're guessing it's going to be even bigger this year. So mark your calendars!

As always, we are so very lucky to have so many incredible theater and performing arts options in the neighborhood. This weekend: My Chicago. My Chicago explores Chicago from the kids' point of view. Fun for all ages. And calling all Gleeks! Gleetastic is heading back at Davenports but not many shows are scheduled. So don't wait until the last minute. These shows always sell out.
