Emporium Arcade Opening Soon

With license in hand and inspections all passed, we're not really sure what's keeping Emporium Arcade - located at 1366 N. Milwaukee Avenue- from officially opening their doors. They've said they're ready to open any day now. So be sure to have plenty of quarters on hand. We're expecting their doors to be open this weekend. We were able to catch a sneak peak of Wicker Park's hottest new bar last week. Emporium.

Milwaukee Avenue - Wood Street Intersection Getting Redesign

As residents of Wicker Park for 7+ years, we can attest to the fact that this intersection is the most dangerous in the neighborhood for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians...and we are excited to report that at long last ... this intersection is getting a much needed make-over. The redesign will remove the island on the northeast side (where so many pedestrians get stuck) and enable a better overall flow of traffic. Steve Vance of Grid Chicago does an excellent job of outlining the issues/solutions. Redesign.
