In a story published by the Huffington Post today, it appears a mob of people entered one of Wicker Park's retailers and robbed the store of approximately $2,000 worth of merchandise during Saturday evening's Wicker Park Fest located on Milwaukee Avenue.
The robbery, captured by surveillance cameras at Mildblend Supply Co. and posted on YouTube, took place during the Wicker Park Fest street festival Saturday evening.
The footage shows a group of about a dozen men entering the store, located at 1543 N. Milwaukee Ave., and grabbing several piles of jeans.
Employees reacted quickly locking the doors behind the men. But according to Gaper's Block, the men managed to open the doors and escape. If you have any information regarding this incident please contact Chicago Police at the 14th District.
