Wicker Park's Glazed & Infused has announced that Monday May 21st is their opening day on the
West side of Francesca's Forno: 1576 N. Milwaukee Avenue.
When
Francesca's Forno closed at 1576 N. Milwaukee Avenue to remodel their
restaurant and revamp their menu last year it was reported that owner,
Scott Harris, was also planning on opening a doughnut shop there. That day has come.

The doughnuts will be served through a window across from the entrance to the Damen Blue Line stop. So you can grab one of these delights with a hot cup of coffee on your way to the office. Glazed and Infused will be open early.... and late. Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 p.m. to 1:30 a.m Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
Doughnuts prices will range from $2.75-$5. Coffee from Intelligentsia will be available.
What type of doughnuts can you find? They'll be serving up everything from the old-fashioned doughnuts to creme brulee doughnuts to the maple bacon long john, with an entire strip of bacon on top.
Just goes to show, you really can put bacon on everything.
