Black Bull Tapas has moved into the space formerly the home of Angels & Mariachis at 1721 W. Division Street in Wicker Park and the folks behind River North's English Pub and Hubbard Inn are also behind this new spot. The menu is in the process of being finalized and it sounds like Black Bull Tapas will be opening June 1st.

 

How Black Bull Tapas is defined: "Black Bull Tapas pays homage to the tapas and pintxos bars of Spain, full of warmth & vivacity, a meeting point for friends, where an unassuming entrance conceals a boisterous setting serving simple yet surprising food."

The Chefs will be Executive Chef Bob Zrenner & Luis Contresas.

The target date for opening is mid-April. We can't help but picture tapas, a great wine and the outdoor patio. Welcome to the neighborhood.

Wicker Park's Do Division Fest includes a variety of great music, fantastic food, retailers and shopping.  Sidewalk sales fill the perimeter of the area and the extra-wide side walks allow plenty of al fresco dining at the incredible area bars, restaurants and bakeries ... in addition to all of the food being served directly at the fest itself.  And for the first time, you'll even be able to take advantage of food trucks stationed at the Polish Triangle at 1500 W. Division Street.

Executive Chef Ralph Steinberg and owner Baris Yuksel launch brunch service and expanded hours Memorial Day Weekend

People Lounge located at 1560 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Wicker Park - offers both an ala carte and prix-fixe option every Saturday and Sunday beginning May 26. Prix-fixe brunch is offered from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and includes choice of any below entrée with select beverages (sangria, mimosas or cava). The inclusive prix-fixe ranges from $15-$22 (add $10 to the entrée price). The a la carte brunch menu is offered from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
